What can I do with my Commercial Pilot Licence?
A Commercial Pilot Licence is your gateway to a career as a professional pilot. Whether as an airline pilot, a charter pilot or an instructor and more, you’ll need a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). It’s also a great way to sharpen your flying skills if you’re a private pilot with some experience, wanting to be stretched to the next level.
CPL training involves considerably more solo flying and more complex and longer navigation exercises, often to remote aerodromes, through controlled airspace as well as in and around military restricted airspace.
What do I need to do to get my Commercial Pilot Licence?
For a non-integrated CPL (Part 141 Training) you will need:
- Flight time – The minimum flying experience required is 200 hours, of which 100 hours must be solo (pilot in command) and 20 of those solo hours must be cross-country flights.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to hold written exams before attempting the CPL flight test.
- Medical – you must hold a Class 1 medical certificate to attempt the CPL flight test.

Non-Integrated CPL Training
As a Part 141 training provider, we offer a non-integrated CPL training course. This means that the makeup of your training and timetable is entirely up to you.
There are no huge VET FEE loans, a training pace that suits you and the ability to structure your training to add more useful ratings and endorsements.
